In low consistency pulper the slushing of waste paper separates out the plastic strips, tapes, ropes, binding wires, etc.

For proper performance of the pulper this waste is required to be removed. The ragger is a cleaning unit which pulls out these materials from pulper in the form of rope while the pulper is in operation.

This reduces the load on motor and allows more feeding of raw material& thus the output increases. It also provides good relief to manual cleaning.
